Malkapur Inauguration

Hello all!

This is just a quick update on our progress towards the second Dekhon Centre in Malkapur, Maharashtra. The date for inauguration has been set as the 31st of August - two days from now! Construction has been wrapped up and all of the equipment is being moved in and positioned. Hospital staff are getting ready to handle the bustle of dozens of patients. Proceedings are being planned and the ceremony should begin on the morning of the 31st of August, IST (Indian Standard Time). We will be sure to take thorough record of the inauguration, including photos which we will share in the first days of September.

Stay tuned over the next few days for updates and a first look at Malkapur's set-up. We have learned from our hiccups with Washim's Dekhon Centre - this hospital has been designed to be expandable, should we need more consultants on site or need to accommodate more patients in the ward. Malkapur is our hospital 2.0, and we are expecting even better results than at Washim!
